Our Kentucky Derby voyage celebrate one of the most prestigious events in the "sport of kings." You'll experience
the Derby parades and festivities in Louisville, then have the opportunity to witness the Kentucky Derby itself.
General-admission infield Kentucky Derby tickets or special Derby Day party at the storied Seelbach Hotel with
refreshments and beverages are included in the price of your voyage. Of course, there'll be plenty of mint juleps
available to put everyone in  just the right spirit for the "Run for the Roses."  Included in your voyage is one night's
accommodations in a luxury hotel either before or after your voyage.  You'll travel from Cincinnati to Louisville
overnight on the  
American Queen and after the days festivities you'll continue down the river to Madison, Indiana
for a day of sightseeing and shopping in this beautiful city. We'll cruise back to Cincinnati overnight as our journey
comes to an end.

Included in your tour is a night's stay ashore, either before the cruise begins or on debarkation.

Day 1: Cincinnati
Embark in Cincinnati. Kick off the festivities with a Welcome Aboard Dinner.
Day 2: Louisville | Churchhill Downs
Cheer your favorite horse across the finish line at Kentucky Derby 134 and see the
champion crowned in the Winner’s Circle. Choose from one of the three great race
day events listed below to make your riverboat adventure a memorable experience.
Day 3: Steamboating
Settle into a rocking chair and just let the scenery glide by. Or join in the fun of
our numerous onboard activities. Your full day of leisurely steamboating sets the
tone for an unforgettable vacation.
Day 4: Madison
Tour family owned and operated businesses from Schroeder Saddletree Factory and
the Madison Vineyard to Betty Mundt’s Candies. A stroll through town takes in the
highlights of this beautiful city in southern Indiana.
Day 5: Cincinnati
Disembark today in Cincinnati. If time permits, learn about Cincinnati’s pioneer life
on a visit to a settler’s cabin. Step aboard a side-wheel steamboat or visit the famous
Rockwood Pottery Factory for a souvenir of the region.

THE SEELBACH HILTON DERBY DAY EVENT - INCLUDED
Great American Steamboat Company will host a grand guest event at the historic Seelbach Hilton located in the heart of
downtown Louisville.

Only guests of the American Queen will be granted access to the magnificent Medallion Ballroom for a five hour Derby Day
Event. We have created a stylish and comfortable event complete with superb complimentary food and beverage service, the
live experience of the Kentucky Derby races on largescreens broadcasting all in a pleasant and controlled atmosphere. The
grand and storied Seelbach Hotel will be the venue for all future visits to the Kentucky Derby.

The Seelbach Hotel was built in 1905 by Louis and Otto Seelbach,
immigrant brothers from Germany. For more than 100 years, nine
US presidents and countless celebrated people have made visits to
this landmark hotel. The Seelbach appears on the National Register
of Historic Places and even more significantly, was mentioned in
F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel, “The Great Gatsby”.

* Kentucky Burgoo – a stew, of pork, beef chuck, and chicken, with corn, carrots, onion, celery
and beans (probably lima beans). A Burgoo is generally served over cornbread.
Kentucky Hot Brown – a hot sandwich originally created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville by Fred K. Schmidt in
1926 as an alternative late-night ham & egg supper. The Hot Brown is an open-faced sandwich of turkey and bacon,
covered in Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until crisp and the sauce begins to brown.
Race Day Events  - Guests can choose any one of these special events
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS - INCLUDED IN FARE
Guests may opt to go directly to the Kentucky Derby with infield access only. This is a General Admission ticket and
does not include a SEAT or visual access
to the race. Horses can generally be viewed roughly 25 minutes before each race in the paddock area. The actual races
will be visible on large and small television screens throughout the facility. We will provide luxury motorcoach transfers to
and from the Derby, but guests must expect at least a half-mile walk
to Churchill Downs due to the restricted access to the event.
          • A long walk of at least one half of a mile from the bus drop-off point to the infield
          • Large crowds
          • NO seating, standing room only outdoors, open to the elements
          • Event is approximately 9 am to 6 pm
          • Should guests wish to return to the boat early, they must secure their own transportation
GRANDSTAND SEATING is an additional  $799 Per Guest
Due to the limited capacity, Grandstand seating must be paid in full at the time of booking in orderto guarantee this event. Due
to the high demand of this limited space, Kentucky Derby ticketsare nonrefundable and nontransferable.
We have reserved Section 122 and have limited capacity to 50 tickets.
